Operation method
Experimental anticonvulsant action of phenobarbitalina
Materials and Instruments
Mice Move 1. Take 48 mice from the class, weigh them, and divide them into groups according to their weight. Common Problems The experimental data of the whole class was processed by x2 test to determine whether the difference in the percentage of convulsions between the experimental group and the control group was statistically significant. 2. Randomly assign each group of mice to the experimental and control groups according to the principle of consistency between the weight groups.
3. Students were divided into 12 groups, and for each group, two mice of similar condition were taken from the experimental group and two mice from the control group, and each mouse was labeled. Each group of students will take 2 mice from the experimental group and 2 mice from the control group that are similar in condition.
4. In the experimental group, mice were injected intraperitoneally with 0.4% Sodium Phenobarbital at a dose of 0.5 ml/20 g body weight. The control mice were injected intraperitoneally with an equal volume of saline in the same way.
5. 30 minutes after drug administration, each mouse was injected subcutaneously with 50mg% Dimefline in the same volume as before.
6. Observe the mice closely for 30 minutes from the time of injection of Dimefline to see if there is any convulsion, and record it.
7. Summarize the results of the whole class and enter the number of positive and negative animals in the experimental and control groups in the record form.
Degree of freedom = (row-1) (example-1) = (2-1) (2-1) = 11. Find the x2 value.
(1) Use the basic formula for the calculation:
2. Compare the measured value of x2 with the theoretical value to determine if the difference is statistically significant.
